As gun violence continues to devastate our communities, the need for action to save lives is clearer than ever.
Despite tragedy after tragedy, Congress has refused to pass a bill stopping those on the terrorist watch list from buying guns, even though thousands of people on the list have purchased guns over the past decade.
It’s unconscionable – and the only way we’ll stop it is by speaking out together and demanding action. That’s why I’m calling on Congress to ban gun sales to suspected terrorists, and I need you standing with me.

I’ve been working tirelessly to keep our communities safe from gun violence. Last year, I introduced five gun safety measures that would crack down on gun trafficking, expand background checks and encourage life-saving smart gun technology.
But Congress is acting as a subsidiary of the NRA, rejecting common-sense safety measures in the face of an epidemic of gun violence.
