Join us at the American Cancer Society's Rock Palm Beach on February 5, 2016 for a great night!

2016 will mark the 58th year of the American Cancer Society Island of Palm Beach Unit’s Annual Gala! The affair promises to be a fun-filled musical event featuring fabulous food, great music provided by an all- star band and surprise guests to help raise critical funds to support the fight against cancer.

As you may know, last year’s inaugural “Rock” event was a tribute to Jon Stoll and we plan to keep the momentum going this year. Jon was a loving husband and doting father who truly enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends before he lost his battle with brain cancer at very young age of 54. The American Cancer Society is proud to help pay tribute to him and support the mission of saving lives and creating a world with less cancer.

For over a century, the American Cancer Society has fought for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community. By taking what we’ve learned through research and turning it into what we do, we have contributed to a 15 percent decrease in the overall cancer death rate between the early 1990s and 2005. That means that we helped avoid about 650,000 cancer deaths and created the potential for more birthday celebrations. Overall, 11 million cancer survivors in America will celebrate a birthday this year. Now that’s a reason to party, so join us!

We hope to see you there!
