Lucas,
Donald Trump is picking his cabinet, and it's a woman's worst
nightmare.
There's Representative Tom Price, his choice for health and human
services secretary, who cosponsored legislation multiple times that threatened to upend
Roe v. Wade and make some forms of birth control illegal.
Senator Jeff Sessions, Trump's nominee for attorney general, is no
better. He voted multiple times to allow violent, convicted anti-choice
offenders to avoid court fines by declaring bankruptcy.
Women and families deserve better than this. Let's do everything we
can to fight back.

choose is not up for debate.
Trump's nominees have anti-choice, anti-woman, and anti-family records
that we have to call out.
Tom Price has been a vocal opponent of the Affordable Care Act. His nomination
to lead the Department of Health and Human Services is a clear sign that
Trump plans to decimate the law that's helped so many women and families.
Price also voted against reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act,
and he's consistently voted to defund Planned Parenthood.
Jeff Sessions has suggested that grabbing women by the genitals without
their consent isn't sexual assault. And he opposed legislation to
help women-owned businesses.
Betsy DeVos, Trump's nominee for secretary of education, has worked
to gut funding for public schools, yet has no qualms about contributing
money to right-wing anti-choice efforts. Her family's foundations
gave over $1 million to a single crisis pregnancy center; these centers
are often extremist fronts that lure in pregnant women and lie to them
about the risks of abortion.
It's not just that no one in Trump’s potential cabinet is looking
out for women and families — it's that they are all actively
opposed to any policies helping them. It's time to fight back.
