I bet that subject line tipped you off Lucas.
The Minnesota State Fair starts [soon].
That means it’s time for the annual Team Franken “Pick What
Al Eats at the Minnesota State Fair” tradition.
We’ve got a bunch of great options for you to choose from this year.
There’s
paneer on a spear (which is just a great name),
macaroni & cheese curds, something called
carpe diem, and a
rustic beef pastry.
And yes,
spam sushi. I didn’t just make that up to get your attention.
Click here to vote for the food you want me to eat at the Minnesota State
Fair this year. And of course, as is the tradition for the Great Minnesota Get Together,
I’ll send around a video of me eating the winning food at the Fair.
I look forward to the Fair every year -- and not just so I can sample
whatever cuisine you’ve picked out for me.
The State Fair has been a Minnesota tradition since 1859. It’s insanely
popular because people get to spend time with family and neighbors, meet
new people, try new things, and see who can spot the most Wisconsinites
or Iowans in disguise.
I know not everyone can make it in person -- but that doesn’t mean
you can’t still have some State Fair fun.

Thanks. I think.
