And what response did my Republican opponent give in the face of this attack on access to women’s health care? Silence.
I know everyone is used to hearing Republicans attack women’s health. But Donald Trump is talking about destroying Roe v. Wade and criminalizing women’s health care. By refusing to stand up to his Party's probable presidential nominee, my Republican opponent is putting access to affordable and comprehensive healthcare at risk for New York women. It’s disgraceful.

New York women and their families deserve better from their representatives. They deserve someone who will stand up for access to affordable and comprehensive health care -- not against it. If Republicans don't have the backbone to stand up to their party’s leader and fight for women, it’s time for Republicans to go.
I will not sit silently while Donald Trump and his Republican Party attack women’s access to reproductive health care. I won’t do it today, and I won’t do it in Congress.
