Lucas,
I never thought I would see the day when a candidate with racist ideas would become a major party nominee, but here we are: This week, Donald Trump became the Republican Party’s nominee for the presidency.
We’ve seen the damage his toxic rhetoric has done to our politics. He’s unleashed an astonishing level of vitriol and bigotry – against women and the disabled, against Latino and Muslim Americans, and so aggressively against immigrants. We must not let him bring his divisive and discriminatory views to the White House.
It’s time for Americans to choose a side: We can let hate and division win – or we can stand together for fairness and tolerance. Please say you’ll stand with me by taking the pledge today never to vote for Trump.
Add your name to pledge never to vote for Donald Trump.
Thank you,
