I’m a mother.
And parents should not have to worry for their children’s lives while they’re at school, like Tom Mauser’s son who was murdered at Columbine.
They shouldn’t wonder whether their sons and daughters will come home from the movies, like Sandy and Lonnie Phillips’ daughter who was murdered in Aurora.
This week marks 17 years since the Columbine massacre, and Congress has still not done enough to prevent gun tragedies. Change will only happen if we keep pressure on them.
Will you add your name to our petition and call on Congress to pass meaningful gun reform?
I can’t even imagine the pain and heartbreak these parents felt.
But I do know that we cannot allow this to continue. We cannot let our children grow up in a world where gun murders at schools and theaters are the norm.
We must stand up against unfair laws and fight for the 33,000 Americans who lose their lives to guns every year.
That’s why I’m asking for your help.
Call on Congress to work with President Obama and stop their blockade against gun reform.
