Lucas,
They’re three-time World Cup champions. They’re four-time Olympic champions. But because they are women, our U.S. Women’s National Team is earning far less than the men’s team.
This team doesn’t back down to their opponents on the field, and they’re not backing down off the field, either: Five members of the USWNT just filed a federal complaint charging U.S. Soccer with wage discrimination.
And I’m right there beside them, because these women are the best kind of role models: They’re showing our young girls how to stand up, work hard and fight for what’s right.
Will you join me in standing up with the Women’s National Team against wage discrimination?

We’ve come a long way from when there was no Women’s National Team at all – but progress cannot stop there. With your help, we’re sending a loud message that for equal play, there must be equal pay.
Thanks,
Kirsten [Gillibrand]
