The Community Parks Initiative (CPI), a citywide program designed to improve historically underfunded parks, is turning around public spaces that have been underserved for too long. The benefits of this vital program are being felt at local parks all over the city.
With the support of CPI, a total of $5.9 million has been allocated to renovate Bloomingdale Playground. We need your input to help decide how it will be used to strengthen this cherished public space. NYC Parks is initiating the design process by holding a public meeting in which local residents are invited to share how they would like to see their park improved. With this community input, NYC Parks will develop a concept plan and schematic design, which will be presented to Community Board 7 for public review. Please see details below, and I hope to see you there! You can RSVP on my website.
