Circle April 26th on your calendar.
We have two great women running for Senate and three running for the House with primaries all on that day.
Katie McGinty is locked in a tight primary in Pennsylvania, which she has to win if she's going to unseat extremist, Koch Brothers-backed Republican Senator Pat Toomey. Shaughnessy Naughton's running to flip a House seat in Pennsylvania too, and her primary race is razor-close.
Katie and Shaughnessy are the strongest candidates to take on Republicans in November, and we need them to turn those red seats blue. Wins for them would mean more pro-choice Democrats working to protect women's health care, fight for equal pay, and push for progress.
Donate to help women like Katie and Shaughnessy win their primaries and focus on the general election.
In Maryland, our Senate candidate Donna Edwards and House candidates Kathleen Matthews and Joseline Peña-Melnyk are running for strong Democratic seats, so their primaries will be the toughest part of their campaigns.
If elected, Donna Edwards would be the second African American woman EVER in the Senate, and the first elected in more than 20 years. The latest polling shows her race will be close to the end — she's just four points ahead of her Democratic opponent.
These are all winnable seats for our women, and we're working hard to make sure they have the resources needed to reach voters across Maryland.
Our women in Pennsylvania and Maryland can absolutely win in November, but they have to make it through tough primaries first.
Donate now to make sure our candidates have the resources they need to fight on to Election Day:
