We are taking a stand to protect one of our nation’s most vulnerable
populations. Without action from Congress, millions of people will see
their Social Security disability benefits cut dramatically.

Republicans in Congress are refusing to take action to save the Social
Security Disability Insurance fund. This will leave 11 million people
facing a 19% cut to the benefits on which they rely to make ends meet.
For many this benefit is the only way to cover their basic needs. We cannot
abandon fellow Americans that are unable work due to disability.
We’re asking Congress to look out for those who need our help and
put an easy fix in place. The crisis can be averted by simply reallocating
funds from the larger Social Security trust. It’s time for Congress to act.
