Lucas,
Senator Patty Murray from Washington State is one of our top MVPs. She’s
also one of my favorite people in Congress. She takes the long flight
home every
weekend. And when Patty comes to DC, her watch is always set to Washington (State) time.
Patty just got an opponent in her reelection race. And it’s only a matter of time until the attacks on her follow.

In 2011, the last time Republicans tried to defund Planned Parenthood,
Patty stood up and said “not on our watch.”
In 2013, after Republicans shut down the government, Patty was the one
who brought them back to the table and brokered a solution.
In 2014, after the Supreme Court’s decision in
Hobby Lobby to let employers deny women contraceptive care, Patty introduced the
Not My Boss’s Business Act to overturn it.
