We have a LOT of important things to do.
We’re working to pass the Equality Act and end LGBT discrimination.
We have to take steps to reverse
Citizens United. And we have to prevent the United States from defaulting on our fiduciary
obligations as a nation, and that means we have to increase the federal
debt ceiling (by about November 5th).
Meanwhile, the Tea Party is
still trying to defund Planned Parenthood. And I can’t believe this is
the case, but we will in all likelihood face
another shutdown threat… yet again…. in December.
So there’s a lot going on. It requires a LOT of action. Today, I
thought I’d give you the chance to take all the action you can in
one place. Running the numbers up on these actions means more people engaged
and ready to organize online to fight for the issues and values we care about.
