We have a brand new example of how radical progressives preach one thing for the rest of us while doing something completely different themselves might shock you.
Just recently an activist group called Presente actually called on the Attorney General of the United States to arrest Donald Trump because they disagree with his words.
While radical leftist attacks on free speech are nothing new, it should be interesting to learn that in this case the man behind Presente, James Rucker, has been a top White House advisor on how to build public support for greater government control of the Internet. He strategized with the White House on how they would publicly use arguments about protecting free speech to push for the largest government takeover of the Internet in history.
Now this same radical activist group that cared so much about free speech isdemanding that the U.S. Attorney General throw a presidential candidate in jail for exercising his free speech. They have a petition, hashtags and everything.
It’s becoming increasingly clear that the architects of the Obama Internet takeover are not actual supporters of an open dialogue. They do not want you to hear a diversity of opinions. They want control. And centralizing government regulation of the Internet gives them this control. Now, the government won't need to dirty its hands by intimidating opposition voices or throwing them in jail. Instead, they will just shut down a website or deny access to those users who don’t speak "correctly." But both actions have the same result: your silence.
