Dear Lucas --
Just recently, President Obama announced a step towards establishing diplomatic
relations with Cuba. This is progress, but it’s not enough.
Tell Congressman Rangel’s colleagues in Congress to go one step further
and open trade with Cuba.
Some in Congress would like to see our country stuck in Cold War policies
that hurt our economy by cutting us off from trade with Cuba. But we know
that isn’t the right decision for our country.
It is time to pass Congressman Rangel’s Free Trade with Cuba Act.
This is something Charlie has worked towards for more than 20 years- he
first introduced it in 1993. But
right now is the moment for it to become law.
We know we can count on your help to tell Congress to act now and support
the Free Trade with Cuba Act.
