CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR 2015 NYCLA VICE PRESIDENT AND TREASURER POSITIONS AND NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING OF THE NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE
NYCLA Announces Call for Nominations for 2015 Vice President and Treasurer Positions
The NYCLA Committee on Nominations is accepting nominations for the position of Vice President, and (if it becomes vacant due to the nomination of the current Treasurer to the position of Vice President) the position of Treasurer, the terms of which will begin in June, 2015. The Committee welcomes self-nominations or nominations of those you think can take on a leadership role at NYCLA.
The Nominations Committee will conduct an open meeting on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the NYCLA Home of Law, 14 Vesey Street. Members can address the Committee about their self-nominations or their nominations of others for the Vice President and/or Treasurer positions. All individuals who are nominated for these positions, whether self-nominated or nominated by another member, should plan to attend this meeting.
How to make a nomination
Please submit a resume and letter stating your or the nominee’s reasons for wishing to serve as Vice President and/or Treasurer. All materials should be sent to Renee Freimuth, Counsel to NYCLA, at rfreimuth@nycla.org no later than Thursday, April 2, 2015.
