Friend,
Please let me introduce myself. My name is Kelli Ward and I am a mom, military wife, physician, and proud conservative serving in the Arizona State Senate.
And I want to ask you one question and one question only today: Can I count on your support if run I against John McCain in the Republican Primary?
But before you answer that question, let me explain a bit more.
You see. . . the "politics-as-usual" political establishment has already answered that question. They – without a doubt – answer a resounding NO to that question. John McCain is their man and they want him back for another six years .
But I don't work for the Establishment. I work for you. . .the proud Americans across our great land that stand for the conservative principles upon which our great country was founded. And that's why I want to hear from YOU. . .
.
. . .Not from the establishment forces that are more concerned with what
they will wear to their next cocktail party in Georgetown…
. . .Not from the "politics as usual" DC insiders that simply
want to maintain the status quo. . .
. . .And not from the political pundits that love and adore every move
Barack Obama makes.
.
You see. . .while the establishment, the DC insiders and the political
pundits all want 6 more years of John McCain. . .the PEOPLE I hear from
want nothing of him.
And, it's no secret as to why. You see, John McCain has proven himself
to be anything but a conservative. In fact, the Senate Conservatives Fund
recently hit the nail on the head when they stated:
"There are few Republicans who have betrayed our conservative principles
more than John McCain."
Can I count on your contribution?
Consider what John McCain has done in just the last few years:
- He WROTE the McCain-Kennedy immigration bills that effectively gave amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.
- He VOTED for the Wall Street bailout.
- He VOTED to fund the implementation of Obamacare.
- He VOTED for the $600 billion "fiscal cliff" tax hike.
- And he VOTED to raise the debt limit a staggering 14 times.
It's a record that was so liberal that the Arizona Republican Party
formally censured him for constantly lending his support to issues "associated
with liberal Democrats" while turning his back on the important conservative
issues of his own Party.
In contrast to John McCain, my voting record always remains true to conservative
principles.
And,
in contrast to John McCain, I would. . .
- Be a powerful voice in the fight against Obamacare.
- STAND UP for the enforcement of our immigration laws and to secure the border.
- Support the Constitution, smaller government and individual liberty.
- Be a positive, passionate, principled non-career politician. I would run to join a fresh, new generation of leaders in DC and end the stronghold that career politicians have had on our government for decades. I would run to be the voice that so many Arizonans long for from their representation in the US Senate. I would run to be your voice.
- Be YOUR voice. . .and not the voice of the political establishment, the DC insiders or the Obama-loving political pundits.
However, I can't embark on this endeavor unless I know I have the support
of conservatives. . . not only in Arizona, but across the United States.
That's why, again, I implore you to answer my one question to you today:
Can I count on your support if I run against John McCain in the Republican Primary?
If 20,000 patriots from across our great land answer an enthusiastic "
YES!" to that question by June 1st. . .then I will know I have the necessary
momentum to run and, finally, send John McCain into retirement.
So, please, do not delay. Answer my one question to you today:
Can I count on your support if I run against John McCain in the Republican Primary?
