Let this sink in for a second: Donald Trump is the Republican frontrunner
for president in 2016.
Despite his racist rhetoric about immigrants costing him major business
partners like NBC Universal and Univision, two polls show him several
points ahead of his fellow Republicans.
And while you may think Trump is an outlier, candidates like Rick Perry,
Scott Walker, and Jeb Bush (who are following him in the polls) have all
embraced some of the same extreme ideas Trump has proposed.
It's historically very hard to keep a Democrat in the White House
after a two-term Democrat is in office. That's why we can't take
2016 for granted.
