Lucas,
Mitch McConnell promised anti-choice groups that if he controlled the Senate,
passing anti-choice legislation would be a top priority.
Well, today McConnell and Republicans officially take control of the Senate.
And with new senators like Joni Ernst and Thom Tillis — two of the
most anti-choice candidates we saw last cycle — there's no doubt
that Republicans are emboldened to attack women's health care.
Add your name to tell Mitch McConnell and his fellow anti-choice Republicans
that every time they attack women, we'll be there to hold them accountable.
But today isn't all bad news — women like Senator Jeanne Shaheen
are coming back and new champions like Congresswoman Gwen Graham are also
being sworn in. We helped elect them for this exact reason: to hold the
line on women's rights when Republicans attack.
And we know from watching anti-choice bills pass in the states where the
GOP already runs the show that Republicans like to pass these things when
they think no one's watching. So it is
critical that we shine the spotlight on them every time they propose, debate, and
vote on anti-choice bills.
Tell Mitch McConnell and Republicans that you'll call them out —
no matter how much they try to hide their anti-choice agenda. Add your name.
Thanks for speaking out,
Jess O'Connell
