MulchFest 2015

Start 2015 by Being Green and Treecycling at MulchFest!

Ring in the New Year by recycling your Christmas tree on January 10 and 11, 2015 at NYC Parks' annual MulchFest from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at locations citywide. Bring your holiday tree to one of 85 designated parks to be recycled into mulch that will nourish plantings across the city or your own garden. Free mulch collection bags are provided for your convenience.

There will be 30 chipping sites and 55 drop-off sites throughout the five boroughs. And starting Saturday, January 3, you can bring your tree to a drop-off site.

Remember to remove all lights and decorations before bringing the tree to a MulchFest site.
