“National Gun Violence Awareness Month.” This will be a time to bring community leaders together to enact real
solutions to the problems plaguing our communities. We’ll teach
all Americans about gun violence and gun safety because from rural communities
to inner city streets to suburban schools, this issue is affecting us all.
Gun violence is a national problem - 1 in 3 Americans knows someone who
has been shot. We need to find national solutions and it begins with raising
awareness.
