Lucas -- If you’re anything like me, you look at what’s going on in Washington with total frustration. With the constant political fighting and progress being blocked at every opportunity, it’s clear that our lawmakers can’t even come together to reach common sense solutions to the challenges we face.
I’ve spent the last two decades working to make our country safer – first as a submarine officer in the Navy, and later as an official at the Department of Defense and a staff member on the National Security Council. I’ve spent my career of service putting aside political differences in order to get the job done.
This is why I’m running for Congress: we need to put an end to the partisan games and protect hard working families, our rural communities, and the middle class.
