INTO NET NEUTRALITY?

Lucas,

A federal court will rule soon on the future of net neutrality.

No, you didn’t accidentally click on an old email from me. And no, this isn’t some kind of mix-up from the hard-working folks at the Team Franken Center for Innovation in Fundraising Emails (TFCIFE). This is happening right now, and you can probably guess why.

Big telecom corporations are suing to roll back our victory on net neutrality. The only way to stop them is to repeat what we did last time -- get organized and demand that the Internet remain a free, open, and level playing field. Sign our petition if you agree.

The Internet has historically been a marketplace where ideas and products flow free. Everyone -- from big corporations to a small business in Anytown, Minnesota -- should get the same treatment.

That’s what the new FCC rules protect -- a free and open Internet. And that’s what the big telecom companies have unleashed their army of fancy lawyers to tear down.

Now, the telecom corporations have a right to their day in court. But that doesn’t mean we should sit back in silence.

We’ve won this fight before, and with your help, we will win it again. Sign your name next to mine, and let’s defend net neutrality against this latest attack from the big telecom providers.

Thanks,

Al
