It’s outrageous.
Our country was founded on the right to vote, yet states around the country are passing undemocratic laws that block access to the polls. Fifteen states have already acted to suppress the vote, and they won't stop unless we fight back.
I am joining with Democrats in Congress to link arms and form a united front against voter suppression, but we need your help – the people’s voice – to send a strong message:

Ending early voting. Passing obstructive voter ID laws that disproportionately affect seniors, the working poor and minorities.
It’s clear what they’re trying to do, Lucas – and it's because when voter turnout is high, Democrats win. 2016 could be a great year for Democrats, or it could be a total disaster, and our ability to shut down voter suppression and boost turnout will make the difference.
The right to vote is integral to our democracy. We should want more people voting, not fewer.
