IN MEMORIAM: RUTH B. SMOLLENS

I regret to inform you of the passing of Tilden District Leader Steven Smollens mother, Ruth B. Smollens at the age of 95.

Please join me in sending the family our sincerest condolences.The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 11:30 am at Riverside Memorial Chapel on Amsterdam Ave. and 76th St. Donations may be made to the Brotherhood Synagogue Tikvah Fund located at 28 Gramercy Park South, NY, NY 10003.

Congratulations are also sent to Lily Smollens who is graduating this coming week in Massachusetts. Therefore, no Shiva will be observed for Ruth Smollens.

This is a bittersweet time for the Smollens family but we know that they will be celebrating the life of Mom and Grandma at the same as celebrating their daughter’s graduation.
