Fellow Conservative,
Here they go again ...
As soon as news broke that I had decided to run for President, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka hit the press circuit calling me a “national disgrace.”
While our campaign talks thoughtfully about the vital reforms needed to turn our nation around, our detractors are picking up where they left off after swarming the State Capitol and launching a recall race against me.
In that race, they issued death threats against my family and me, hurled insults, spit curses, spewed obscenities, and showed the world how ugly, coarse, and cruel they could be.
Thankfully, conservatives across America rallied to my side and we won that recall race, becoming the first Governor in American history to do so.
Fellow Conservative, the Big Government Labor Bosses hate my policies and despise me even more. They will spend many millions to defeat me because I will never cave in, capitulate, or compromise my principles in the face of their vengeful tactics.
That is why, once again, I am calling on fellow conservatives across America to help me with a generous contribution of $10, $35, $50, $100, $250, or more. Your support will give me the resources to fight back with the truth and win.
When we curbed collective bargaining for the good of my state, it was certain that we would incur the wrath of the Big Government Labor Bosses. When Wisconsin became a right-to-work state, I cemented my place as “Public Enemy #1” in their eyes. By doing the right thing, we made some very powerful union bosses mad and true to their reputation, when they get mad, they seek revenge.
Fellow Conservative, they are coming after me with all they’ve got and they don’t fight fair.
They will do everything and anything to keep me from winning because they know I will bring the same reforms to Washington that I brought to Wisconsin. That is a threat to the power they crave. What their name calling tells me is that they are running scared. Let me hear back from you so I know what you think, Fellow Conservative.
Onward to Victory,
Governor Scott Walker
