It’s funny, when conservatives everywhere warned everyone that the FCC’s Internet takeover would lead to higher cable and Internet costs for everyone -- liberals laughed in our faces. They supported special interests, and the White House, and they stood by and watched as the FCC failed to follow procedure and granted themselves authority they never had to rule over the Internet.
We warned, and liberals did nothing. And now they’re wondering how it all went wrong?
Turns out burdensome Internet regulations do cause higher costs and Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren just missed the memo. They’re calling to investigate the FCC - claiming ignorance as to why the average American is paying higher prices for cable under their new regulations? Sanders and Warren just don’t have a clue - but we do.
It was a market relatively free from Washington red tape that allowed for competitive rates and explosive growth. But under FCC management, we get LESS competition and HIGHER costs.
Senators like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders think they can fix the cost problem with rate regulation policies. But we know you can’t fix broken regulations with more regulations. MORE regs will only inhibit competition -- and hurt your wallet.
