Lucas,
My life was forever changed by a woman on stage talking to millions.
When Hillary Clinton declared in 1995 that "women's rights are
human rights," little did she know that across the world she had
motivated me — a young lawyer working late in her New York office
— to change my career from law to public service. But that's
exactly what she did.
Hillary is such an inspirational person to me. And electing her —
one of the most qualified people ever to run for president — as
the leader of our country is something I will be fighting passionately
for until the last ballot is counted.
It's going to be important to make sure Hillary has a Congress she
can work with. Donate $3 now to help put more pro-choice Democratic women
in Congress.
When I first considered running for a House seat, I talked it over with
my husband, family, friends, experts, and Hillary Clinton. And when I
finally decided I was ready, Hillary took my calls to talk about the challenges
of a campaign and share her experience. When Bill Clinton asked what she
wanted for her birthday that year, she asked him to campaign for me.
I have been so lucky to have Hillary Clinton as a mentor. Her leadership
has changed my life — and our country — in so many ways.
I can only begin to imagine how many more lives she will change as our
Commander in Chief.
Make sure Hillary Clinton has a clear path to lead by electing a Congress
she can work with.

Now's the time to get off the sidelines for Hillary,
