We can’t let this happen. The wealth of the rich has skyrocketed in recent years. The rest of us are barely getting by. And now, the Republican Congress wants to make the rich even richer.
No one pays the estate tax—unless your net worth exceeds $5.4 million. Only two out of 1,000 households pay the estate tax (the top 0.2%), and this vote will give those millionaires & billionaires another $270 billion over ten years.
Sign our petition today to preserve the federal estate tax. The wealthiest Americans need to pay their fair share of taxes.
