For millions of families across the country, the Children’s Health
Insurance Program (CHIP) is a lifeline. For kids, it means a chance to
get healthy. For parents, it means the ability to pay for their kids’
medical treatment.
When CHIP was first passed, it drew broad bipartisan support. But almost
nothing gets bipartisan support in Washington these days, so it’s
up to us to stand up for CHIP and the millions of people who depend on it.
The Republican attacks on CHIP have to stop. I’m joining with some
