Friends --
Wanted to make sure you got the email below from Justin earlier this week. We are about to get blitzed by outside campaign spending. Can you donate $25, $50, or $100 to help us fight back?
Since Justin sent you the email below, we've now seen confirmation from the State Board of Elections that "Jobs for New York," a New York City real estate-backed PAC, has started spending money to defeat Justin and preserve the Albany status quo:
As we've said all along, Justin is in a great position to win, thanks to your support. And that's why he's being targeted -- because the enemies of reform are afraid of him.
Thanks for everything you do,
Steve Napier, Campaign Manager
Justin Wagner for State Senate
Friends - As you may have read last week, big money is striking back at us -- hard.
Two Super PAC-style groups just announced they're going to attack us with more than a million dollars each in campaign spending. One of these groups is backed by the New York City real estate lobby--some of the deepest pockets in New York State who are committed to maintaining the status quo in Albany.
Please donate $50, $100 or $250 today and help us fight back against this special interest money!
These New York City real estate folks don't know the Hudson Valley, they don't know our needs, and they don't know us. What they do know is that I'm not going to work for them -- I'm going to work for you. I'll be a proud advocate for working families, and I won't make any promises or special deals for New York City landlords and developers. No amount of campaign spending will make me flinch from our shared values on any of that.
Thanks for everything you do,
Justin
