It’s October, and that means two things. Every item in the grocery
store will be pumpkin spice flavor. And every email in your inbox will
be asking -- begging, even -- for you to help fight back against right-wing
special interests determined to buy this election.
This is the last full month of our campaign, and my Republican opponent
and his special interest backers are pulling out all the stops.
One of those super PACs just released a poll showing the race in single
digits -- just like a series of public polls has.
That’s why we’re launching an ambitious $35O,OOO online fundraising
goal for October. Can you get us started with a $5 contribution?
Look, I know that, like Pumpkin Spice Everything, these emails are annoying.
But this is how we build the resources we’ll need to fight back
against the right-wing smear attacks coming my way in this critical final
month. This is how we build a GOTV machine capable of turning out every
last vote on Election Day. This is how we make sure Minnesota has a Senator
who stands up for the middle class, not the special interests.
So, while these emails may be obnoxious, they’re important. Unlike
the Pumpkin Spice Extravaganza, which, as we all know, is just another
sellout to the folks at Big Nutmeg.
So, this October, ditch the pumpkin spice -- but don’t delete this
email without clicking here and helping us get started on our $35O,OOO
online goal!
