No one should be lied to or misled when seeking medical care, Lucas.
But right now, across the country, "crisis pregnancy centers" are masquerading as legitimate health clinics to lure women through their doors. Once there, women seeking abortion care are instead faced with harmful misinformation supporting an anti-choice agenda.
There are at least 2,500 of these centers nationwide, operating on our tax dollars and endangering women and families. It’s not right and it needs to end now.
That’s why I introduced the Stop Deceptive Advertising for Women’s Services Act to prevent false clinics from misleading women seeking real medical care.
But I need your support, too. Will you join me by adding your name and calling on Congress to stop funding deceptive anti-choice centers?
When women are deliberately lied to, their health and well-being are put at risk. Our government should be funding real medical facilities, not anti-choice propaganda. That’s what I’m fighting for in Washington, but I need you to join me.
Will you sign your name to tell Congress to protect women and stop funding harmful, anti-choice centers?
Sign your name now: Tell Congress to stand up for women and stop funding harmful CPCs!
Thank you for joining me in this critical fight.
