Friends,
I extend my best wishes to Muslims throughout New York City and around the world as they observe Yom al Arafah and celebrate Eid al-Adha tomorrow. This holiday is a time for us to join together and reflect upon the true meaning of sacrifice, while remembering those less fortunate among us.
I wish those New Yorkers who have performed the Hajj, a safe journey home.
