Together, we did it and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for your hard work and for the faith you’ve put in me. This election shows that every vote counts and with your support, we came out on top.
By working together over the last two years, we’ve created manufacturing and high-tech jobs for local families and invested in our future to build a new veteran’s clinic, a new train station, and to make improvements to local infrastructure so our roads, bridges, port, and airport are safer and more efficient. Between saving antibiotics, increasing the minimum wage, fighting for equal pay for equal work, breaking the corrupt ties between Washington and Wall Street, or fighting bad trade deals, we have so much more to do.
It's gratifying to be re-elected for another term so that I can continue fighting for the community I love and am honored to represent. Together, we will spend the next two years building on our momentum of rebuilding our local economy, standing up for our neighbors, and advancing our shared values.
Like I said throughout this campaign, Washington might not be working, but I sure am, and I'm glad to continue that work.
