Dear Lucas,
Webster’s Dictionary defines “gratitude” as…
Okay, that’s a lame way to start this email. But it’s hard
to convey just how grateful I am to you and every grassroots supporter
who’s worked so hard, given so generously, and put up with all these emails.
It’s because of you that, tonight, we can celebrate a big win --
not just a win for me, but a win for middle-class families across Minnesota,
and for the progressive values you and I share.
We have a lot of challenges ahead. There’s a lot of work to do, and
it’s not going to get any easier to get things done in Washington
come January.
But I’m going to work as hard as I can to make progress. And I’m
only going to be able to do it because of your generous support.
So: Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
