Lucas, if Democrats are going to win this election, we're going to win it in the field and in the science lab: by recruiting volunteers and harnessing big data to maximize our impact.
That's why the DLCC recently unveiled our Grassroots Victory Program, which will train and deploy hundreds of Democratic organizers across the country.
The next Grassroots Victory Program training is just a couple weeks away, and we're looking for a few more organizers to help build an army of Democratic volunteers across the country.
Organizers Needed: Click here to apply to be a 2014 Grassroots Victory Program organizer!
OR:
Click here to donate $10 or more to support GVP organizers across the country.
I want to be clear that GVP organizers are not volunteers or part-time canvassers. Organizing an entire community is demanding work with long hours, and it's not for everyone. But filling these last few positions could mean the difference between winning or losing critical races across the country.
If you know someone who might be interested in becoming a Democratic organizer, please let them know they can apply at www.grassrootsvictoryprogram.com/#apply.
Or if you don't want to apply yourself, you can still support the Grassroots Victory Program by chipping in $10 to help train and deploy GVP organizers.
You've probably already seen the right-wing attack ads blanketing the airwaves, trashing President Obama and lying about the Affordable Care Act. The Koch Brothers will out-spend us on the air, but they can't buy the grassroots energy and volunteers that could win this election for Democrats. Harnessing that energy is what the Grassroots Victory Program is all about.
Sincerely,
Michael Sargeant
