We walk on behalf of the more than 5 million Americans living with Alzheimer's disease and their over 15 million caregivers. We walk because the disease is increasing health care costs and crippling Medicare. We walk for future generations, so they may never know the devastation of Alzheimer's. We also walk because we're New Yorkers, and united and determined as a city, we can be a powerful force.
