On Mother's Day let us honor and recognize our mothers and all the women who lead, nurture, and greatly contribute to our homes, communities, and workplaces. Whether it's a mother, grandmother, aunt, or sister, we all know women who have had a profound impact on our upbringing and have helped shape us. My mother, Matilda Raffa Cuomo, is one of those women. She is a continuing source of strength to me and my family, as well as a mentor to many. I'm grateful to her and to all those women who inspire us across this state. Today, let's thank and honor the women who matter most to us.
