JOIN HIS NEIGHBORHOOD ASSEMBLIES

Last month, over 17,000 New Yorkers across 10 City Council Districts came together to discuss projects for improving their communities. Together they decided on how their Council Members are going to spend more than $14 million in funding.

Now it's your turn.

To get the process started in our community, I'm holding three neighborhood assemblies to solicit your ideas:

Monday, June 2
7:00-8:30 PM
Auditorium of P.S. 163
163 West 97th Street between Amsterdam and Columbus
RSVP HERE

Tuesday, June 3
7:00-9:00 PM
Wilson Major Morris Center
459 West 152nd Street between Amsterdam and St. Nicholas
RSVP HERE

Wednesday, June 4
7:00-8:30 PM
Auditorium of P.S. 192
500 West 138th Street between Amsterdam and Broadway
RSVP HERE

In each session, you'll have the chance to develop potential projects in small discussion groups. Attendees of these meetings will also get to select the volunteer delegates who will review your proposals and select a final list of projects to vote on.

The best part is anyone who lives in CD7 and is 16 years of age or older can participate, even if you're not a registered voter or a US citizen. Not sure if you're in District 7? Look up your home address here.

To give you an idea about the kinds of ideas you can suggest, past projects have ranged from from providing technology upgrades to schools to restoring neighborhood parks to street safety improvements.

I need your help to make this endeavor a success. Can I count on you?

Call or email Jack Sztrigler at 212-928-6814 or pbudgetlevine@gmail.com if you have questions or would like to help my office spread the word in the community.

See you there,
