It is with a heavy heart we advise you that Robert J. Levinsohn, Esq. has passed away. Bob was a founder of New York's Reform Democratic movement and the co-chair of the New York County Democratic party's law committee. Bob was a long time Lex Club member who we were fortunate enough to have honored earlier this month. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30th, 2014 at 11:15AM at the Riverside Memorial Chapel, 180 West 76th Street (at Amsterdam Avenue) New York, NY 10023.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Levinsohn family and their friends. Bob's spirit will externally live on in the Lex Club and all of us.
