FAST FOOD WORKERS GO GLOBAL

#FastFoodGlobal

Support the fight for $15 and a Union

Dear Lucas:

On May 15th, fast food workers from across the globe are taking action.

The movement that started here in New York has spread to 150 cities in the US and in 32 countries across the globe -- and from the Pope to the President, people are taking notice.

Now more than ever we need to stand up, against poverty wages and against the highest levels of income inequality our country has ever seen. Will you stand with fast food workers in New York and call on Albany to let cities and counties set a local minimum wage that reflects the cost of living? Click here to take action.

The push by corporations like McDonald's and Wendy's to pay workers as little as possible has left New York with the worst income inequality in the nation. That's why we're taking our fight for $15 / hour and a union to our leaders in Albany.

Our message is simple— stand with hard working men and women like the ones out here today—or stand with the $200B fast food industry like McDonald's and Wendy's.

On May 15, the fast food workers movement goes global but we need you to act local. Click here to tell your representatives in Albany to stand with workers and allow cities and counties to raise the local minimum wage.

Best,

Jonathan Westin
