KAY'S WORRIED ABOUT THE KOCH BROTHERS

Dear Lucas,

At last count, the Koch brothers' group Americans for Prosperity is up to $8.3 million in spending in North Carolina -- more than in any other Senate race in the country.

And the number of grassroots supporters like you fighting against them is up to 57,632.

It's no secret the Koch brothers, through their outside interest group (and the 16 others that we know they're connected to), are trying to buy a Senate that will push their anti-middle class agenda.

We need to stop them.

My colleagues and I are joining together to fight back against the Kochs in the 2014 elections. Sign your name to the petition today.

The special interest groups attacking us have an agenda -- one that we stand firmly against.

The Koch agenda doesn't help unemployed workers find jobs or help small businesses create them, and it doesn't protect women's access to medical care or protect seniors' Medicare or Social Security benefits.

In a world ruled by the Koch agenda, millionaires would get bigger tax breaks, but Medicare would be turned into a voucher program. Their agenda does nothing to support middle-class prosperity -- despite the name of their organization.

So they will keep on attacking me -- and that's ok. Because I've got you, Lucas, and many thousands more just like you, to help fight against them.

Add your voice to mine and my colleagues' and sign our petition to fight back against the Koch brothers' attacks.

Thank you for your help, it's critical to our success this year.

Kay [Hagan]
