Right-wing Republican state legislators are at it again. Alabama's GOP-controlled statehouse is stooping to new lows in the nationwide assault on women's reproductive health. Last week, the legislature passed one of the most intrusive abortion bans in the country – a ban that takes effect before many women even know they are pregnant.
What's worse, Alabama isn't alone. In states all over the country, from North Dakota to Virginia, Republican legislatures are targeting women -- stripping away their reproductive rights and denying critical health care.
