BARRED FIGHT

Allegedly assaulted in an alley near JMED Holdings's nightclub, Christopher Ravallese sued the property owner, the security company--Salvus Security Services, Inc.--and the latter's employee for failing to provide adequate security.

Since the attack didn't involve any security personnel, didn't take place on JMED's property, and because there was no obligation to provide security where the incident occurred, both the New York County Supreme Court and the Appellate Division, First Department, thought that Salvus and its employee had been improperly joined to the suit.

Talk about fighting back.
