A New Type of Health Care
Public Health Solutions (PHS) has launched its Health Insurance Navigator Program with a specific focus on reaching Hispanic youth and their families.
PHS at 103-24 Roosevelt Avenue, 2nd Floor, has been awarded funding to implement The Connecting Kids to Coverage Outreach and Enrollment aimed at continuing efforts to find and enroll eligible children in Medicaid and Child Health Plus.
The navigators will help people enroll in public health insurance, as well as private insurance with subsidies through the New York State of Health Marketplace.
Understanding that English is a barrier, the navigators also speak Spanish, French and Arabic.
