Comptroller Stringer's Hurricane Sandy Oversight Unit is a first-of-its-kind initiative that will hold government accountable in the rebuilding of NYC from Superstorm Sandy. The unit will review and audit Sandy spending and programs, identify areas where performance can be strengthened and fraud and waste can be prevented, and issue recommendations to improve the rebuilding process for communities. Please join us at an Oversight Hearing to share your ideas for this initiative.
