I'm incredibly glad to announce we have obtained the endorsement of the Lambda Independent Democrats (LID) of Brooklyn, New York.
This endorsement is particularly heartening coming the week after our endorsement by Community Organizer Regina Powell.
I want to thank you for these endorsements. Without your continuing encouragement, I would not be able to have the confidence that is bringing such a steady stream of accomplishments.
And there's more news too. I'm happy to announce we have obtained over 1,200 signatures thus far for our petitioning effort (And we only need 1,000 to qualify for the ballot).
We continue to build momentum every day of the campaign. As I mentioned we have a filing deadline on July 11th and need to raise an additional $25,000 by that date.
