The truly scary thing about Eric Cantor’s Tea Party-led defeat is that Cantor's loss is just the tip of the iceberg.
If the leader of the GOP’s conservative faction in Congress is no longer extreme enough, then who is? Some of the Tea Party candidates flooding the ballot this year are downright TERRIFYING – and here’s just one other example:
Not even 24 hours after Cantor's loss, news broke that a different Tea Party-backed candidate in Oklahoma thinks it’s OK to execute Americans for being gay.

Just think: For every right-wing legislative candidate foolish enough say something this extreme on tape, how many more are out there whose views haven’t been exposed yet?
