LADYBUG BASH

Atia's Project Ladybug Fund

A nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to easing the struggles of childhood cancer by providing financial and emotional assistance to patients and their families, Atia's Project Ladybug Fund (APLF) is Chicago's chapter of Project Ladybug.

Founded by Dina Manzo, star of Bravo's Real Housewives of New Jersey, APLF caters to the psycho-social needs of childhood cancer with the hope of minimizing outside stresses so patients and families can focus their energy on what's truly important – getting well.

APFL is dedicated in the name of a young Chicago girl treated at The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. Atia was diagnosed with cancer when she was 17 months old and underwent over 2 years of aggressive chemotherapy treatment. Today, Atia is 6 years old and in full remission.
